Clark Price - Medical Malpractice Defense. The annual list is compiled by Best Lawyers after conducting surveys in which more than 39,000 leading attorneys confidentially evaluate their professional peers. Since attorneys are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, Best Lawyers has come to be regarded by both the legal profession and the public as the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice. Four Roe Cassidy Attorneys Become Members of Upstate Inn of CourtBill Coates, Randy Moody, Trey Suggs, and Josh Smith of Roe Cassidy were all recently nominated to, and became members of the newly founded Upstate South Carolina Inn of Court. The Upstate Inn of Court, as a local division of the American Inns of Court, was established to improve the skills, professionalism, and ethics of the bench and bar in Upstate South Carolina. It is comprised of a small group of local judges and lawyers who collectively seek to further this mission. Membership status is based upon years of experience in the practice of law. Bill Coates joined the Upstate Inn as a "master," Randy Moody as a "barrister," and Trey Suggs and Josh Smith as "associates." The objective of the Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource in searching for legal counsel. Attorneys are nominated and rated by their peers and recognized based on work completed throughout 2010. William A. Coates Inducted as Fellow in American College of Trial LawyersRoe, Cassidy, Coates & Price, P.A. is pleased to announce that founding shareholder William A. Coates was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers at the College's 2010 annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and following a careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Lawyers must have a minimum of fifteen years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship, and membership in the College cannot exceed one percent of the total population in any state. Qualified lawyers are called to Fellowship in the College from all branches of trial practice. Coates is a 1971 graduate of the University of South Carolina and a 1974 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. He concentrates his practice on commercial and corporate litigation, white collar criminal defense, government investigations, as well as health care, environmental, and real estate litigation.
